Our mission is to ensure that every elementary child in underserved areas has the materials to develop their creative abilities. Currently, we are focused on Native American Reservations.  We believe it is imperative the teachers of these children are equipped with experience and methods to teach art, plus the capacity to integrate it with CORE subjects. The end result will be students who are critical thinkers and productive citizens.

Art Supplies

Reservation schools are underserved desperately needing funding for basic materials. Few elementary children have their own pencils let alone crayons, erasers, glue, or colored pencils. The responsibility falls on the teacher to equip their classroom with these necessities. Teachers often supply these items from their own paychecks.  ABC strives to assist in this area with individual and corporate contributions.

ABC offers an annual visual arts workshop for teachers in underserved areas. Hands-on experience working with various media, such as watercolors, pastels, charcoal, markers and colored pencils is offered. These workshops provide them the confidence needed to instruct their children in art.
